world What's your favorite coffee origin?
I love Kenya. I learnt to cup there during my overseas training and still consider Kenyan to be my favorite coffee. (Well! and Ethiopian and maybe El Salvador...)

 What do you think are the benefits of taking the Q?
Q teaches professionalism and discipline in the cupping lab and forms the basis for the international language of quality assessment in specialty coffee. It allows a student to measure how far they have come during their time as a cupper.

coffee What other activities do you do in the coffee industry?
I trade specialty coffee from most origins working for Falcon Coffees. Working with micro-roasters is such a pleasure due to the enthusiastic and passionate people who run these incredible businesses.

I'm married with 2 daughters. I play the blues harmonica, a bit of classical guitar and love watching football (played professionally) and I play tennis (badly).
