Last year, CQI introduced and incorporated a new tool – flavor standards- into CQI Quality Evaluation training as way to continue improving the global language of coffee, specifically for flavors. To help prepare our community to use these tools in CQI education, this year we are launching some fun events hosted by In-Country Partners and Q Venues worldwide. Continue reading to learn more.
Earlier this year, we announced the beginning of Q Project Thailand – an exciting project with the goal of increasing coffee producer income and improving coffee quality in Thailand. Looking at the progress made thus far, and impactful CQI education that has been delivered to the first Cohort of students. Selected producers have had the opportunity to participate in education focusing on both the Quality Evaluation and Post-Harvest Processing programs.
