USA and Costa Rica

What do you think are the benefits of taking the Q?
There are many benefits of taking the Q. Aside from lifelong connections and career opportunities, you are learning a language of coffee quality spoken all over the world. Through CQI, this education is made available to producers and exporters in producing countries, which expands our community of cuppers. As a global and calibrated group of evaluators, Q graders help to ensure quality and relevance in an ever-changing industry. Once you have taken the Q, your perspective on coffee cupping and quality evaluation expands beyond your table!
What language/s do you speak?
English
What other activities do you do in the coffee industry?
I currently sit as the Vice Chair for the USBC (United States Barista Competition) Committee and act as a Head Judge for the competitions. For work and fun, I am a quality evaluation and supply chain specialist at Balzac Brothers!
